JULIAN EARL FARRIS earned his B.A. in English at Jacksonville University, his M.A. in English at Florida State University and then taught humanities, became an avid sailor, environmentalist and animal rights activist, wrote and directed video documentaries on the humanities and resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his life partner and their two rescue cats, Bubba and Annie. He is working on his second novel, Families and Other Strangers.
